It is an iron kettle of Nanbu Tekki, a traditional craft of the southern part of Iwate prefecture. It is an elegant design that you will never get tired. The inside is lacquered. Lacquer will be removed as you use it, but by that time it will be an iron kettle that does not easily rust due to minerals and calcium in tap water, so you can easily take in iron that tends to be deficient and prevent anemia. In addition, hot water boiled in an iron kettle removes chlorine, so ordinary tap water has a mellow taste. Drinks such as Japanese tea and coffee can also make deliciously. It can be used not only for open flames, also for "IH" because the bottom is flat.

Nanbu cast Iron ware, characterized by its delicate cast and profound coloration is Morioka's traditional craft that has been created over a long period of history and nature.
It has a long history and has been preserved and raised by generations of southern lords who have a deep knowledge of culture for about 400 years ago.
