-Wakasa lacquered chopsticks-
The characteristic of Wakasa lacquered chopsticks is that shells and eggshells reminiscent of the seabed are coated with colorful lacquer more than ten times. By carefully polishing the layers of lacquer that has been applied, a beautiful seabed-like texture emerges. Wakasa lacquered chopsticks are also called 'Crane's beak' because the tips of the chopsticks are thin and pointed, and they are also said to an auspicious chopsticks that bring good luck and longevity.

The gift of chopsticks(箸Hashi) comes from the word “橋Hashi” which means “bridge” or “connecting people”. Especially when given as a wedding gift, chopsticks are very auspicious because they are meant to connect and deepen the bond between married couples.
