Sakai incense has been designated as a "Traditional Craft" by Osaka Prefecture, and has implemented a manufacturing master system to be passed on to the future. The production of Shin-zan is by master.
"Shin-zan" is processed by adding moisture to dry powder of natural Koboku (aromatic tree), tsbu(machilus thunbergii) wood etc, and manufactured using only natural materials.
Shin-zan's goal is to provide high quality and safe incense with a mellowness and gentleness in a solemn aroma, carefully selected natural materials and cultivated skills of skilled craftsmen.

It takes decades for agarwood to grow into aromatic tree. The aroma  created by nature which cannot be created by human hands, is very precious. It is a standard finish for aromatic tree, and it has an elegant and cool image unique to agarwood.
