It is a hand mirror made in Takaoka crafts.
The design is based on the traditional technique "Raden" of Takaoka Lacquerware, and it is produced with a motif of forsythia and long-tailed tit.
"Raden" is a method in which a material obtained by cutting out the nacreous part of a shell has rainbow-colored gloss embedded on the surface of lacquer or wood.
