This is a formal Jodo-shinshu Buddhist rosary for women. The material is rosewood that has been matted to give an elegant impression. It is a popular natural wood material that is light and durable. You can enjoy "aging" that becomes glossy with each use. In addition, used a deep red agate for the accent.
The tassel uses beautiful and supple Kyoto-made Bontenfusa, which has the image of a water lilly. With the tag of the Kyoto Rosary Manufacturing Cooperative, which only the traditional "Kyo-nenju" is allowed to attach. It is a gem made by the master craftsman of Kyo-nenju.
