The yellow band is ki-kochi — enamel laid on thick inside raised outlines, so the pattern stands up off the surface and you can feel it under a thumb. Filling it are takarazukushi, the "gathered treasures": the mallet that grants wishes, the treasure bag, the weight, the scroll, the clove, the hat and cloak that make the wearer unseen. Each one is a wish on its own, and together they are a wish for everything.
