Masanari survived the war in the Northern and Southern Dynasties by using a strange technique and rescued Emperor Godaigo.
In the Muromachi period, the military story "Taipei" describes Masanari as "There is no one who has the three virtue of Ji, Jin, and Isamu, and lives to protect the good path from the ancient times until now."
