This is a formal rosary for men of the Jodo sect.
We use the highest quality of the Seigetsu linden, a popular staple among Seigetsu linden.
This rosary is made with lapis lazuli, one of the seven treasures in Buddhism.
The deep blue color evokes the night sky, and the golden pyrite (inclusions) look like stars.
The tassels are made of high-quality pure silk Kabonten. It is made by weaving threads using traditional braiding techniques, so it is strong, and the Bonten tassels are beautiful in appearance, reminiscent of lotus flowers.
This is an exquisite product handmade by a skilled Kyoto rosary maker.
