Note :
This is a formal rosary for men for the Jodo Shinshu sects, made from black coral , which has a beautiful, elegant jet black color and luxurious luster. As the artificial harvesting of black coral is currently prohibited, it can only be processed from coral that is naturally caught in a net, making it an especially valuable material for rosary making.
The unique brown pattern visible on the jet black beads is formed by the power of nature, giving it a deep and mysterious charm. The distinctive surface texture when touched and the stately pattern resembling the tree rings can only be experienced with natural black coral nurtured by the deep sea.
The tassels are made from elegant pure silk Himofusa braided with two colored strings.
The tag is from the Kyoto Rosary Manufacturing Wholesale Cooperative, which is only allowed to be attached to traditional "Kyoto Rosary". This is a masterpiece made by a Kyoto Rosary maker with expert skills.
