It can also be used for water with bincho charcoal etc in to the water.

The Shigaraki pottery server is designed for a home use tank, which is used for maturing and storing food.
The Shigaraki pottery has a far-infrared effect, and it is said that by letting it sit for a few days, it will mature and become more mellow in flavor.
Of course, the juice tastes great straight from the bottle, but with this server, you can enjoy a more authentic taste and flavor.
The inner material is also Pottery.

[Shigaraki ware]
It is said to have started around the end of the Heian period and is one of Japan's six old kilns (Bizen, Tanba, Echizen, Seto, Tokoname, Shigaraki) that originated in Shigaraki Town, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture.
Shigaraki ware as a tea tool was prized since the end of the Muromachi period, and in the Momoyama period it was baked in Kyoto using Shigaraki soil. Inheriting its 1200-year history, it now produces a wide range of products such as bowl, pot, garden tables and chairs.
